Fully Automatic Defibrillators

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen at any time without indication. Each minute someone suffering a cardiac arrest is left untreated the chances of the sufferer surviving decrease by 10 percent. Having an easy to access and easy to operate defibrillator available will save lives. A fully automatic defibrillator will measure the sufferer's heart rate once the paddles are attached and if the unit detects an irregular heartbeat it will charge and deliver a life-saving shock without the need for input from the first-aider. Once the shock is delivered the unit will indicate that the first-aider can begin CPR.
